Barrett to join West Edinburgh in remembrance this Sunday

Liberal Democrat MP John Barrett, will join his constituents at events acrossWest Edinburghas part of Remembrance Sunday.
                                                                                                                                       
Mr Barrett will lay poppy wreaths at both the Corstorphine War Memorial at the Old Parish Church and at the Davidson’s Mains War Memorial on the village Main Street.
 
John Barrett said:
 
“The ongoing events in Iraq and the tragic deaths of British soldiers serve as a stark reminder of the sacrifices made by our armed forces. 
 
“I think this Sunday will be an extra special Remembrance Day where we can pause and show our respect and profound thanks to all those who have given of their lives in the name of their country.
