Your local councillors
Council services include: roads, pavements, public transport, refuse collection, council housing, planning, noise problems.
For most local problems, you should first contact the City of Edinburgh Council by phoning one of the numbers listed in the Edinburgh Council page.
If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily then you should contact your local councillor at the City Chambers or at his/her surgery. If you are not sure which ward you live in, you can check the ward boundaries shown on the council's web site or contact the Lib Dem office.
Under the new multi-member council wards there are three or four councillors for each area. A full list is available form the Council.
